May 2025 Art Exhibit - Unexpected Delights

Reception: Thursday, May 29th from 6-8 PM
At the Goodnow Library in Sudbury
During the creative process, there are always those special moments when something unexpected happens…. Perhaps it’s seeing something in your subject that you’ve never noticed before (e.g., the faces in orchids or a particular image embedded in the clouds).. …. Perhaps it’s an unanticipated result created by using a new tool or material or perspective…. Perhaps it’s the mystery embedded in the creative process itself when the outcome is uncertain such as in poured painting or eco printing.
We invited all Arts Wayland member artists to interpret the concept of “Unexpected Delights” in their own creative way and to submit up to 5 pieces of art that reflect this theme.
