After being in the Southwest, Arches National Park had recently lost a stone arch. It just fell down, and after using these colors, I felt emotionally, like I could also crumble, at any time.

I'm an abstract painter, and have been using acrylic paints for many years. I also use other materials (mixed media) to my work when necessary. I have been painting since the late 1980's, but took art classes before then, and am still enrolled in an online class.
