About Lidia Mikhaylova
The works I am proposing come from two series, My Sweet Fall and Grandma’s Front Garden, connected by the themes of change, memory, and the search for home. My Sweet Fall was created during a time of profound transition in my life and reflects both the excitement of change and the nostalgia that often accompanies it. Grandma’s Front Garden grew from the unexpected feeling of finding home in a new place, where familiar flowers brought me back to my childhood and my grandmother’s garden in Siberia. Together, these works explore how places, colors, and memories can connect different moments of our lives, turning change into belonging and allowing the past and present to exist within the same emotional landscape.
