Where Liberty Waits At The Edge

In the quiet light of sunset, a dock reaches into still water, holding a moment of calm between arrival and departure. Soft reflections and open sky create a feeling of pause, possibility, and quiet contemplation. Where Liberty Waits at the Edge captures that threshold—where stillness meets movement, and where the horizon invites us to imagine what lies beyond.

About Alice Lau
Alice Lau King is a Wayland-based artist and founder of Breeze & Birch, a nature-inspired creative studio where photography, art, and thoughtful design come together. Inspired by her travels, coastal landscapes, historic architecture, and the quiet beauty of everyday life, Alice creates works that capture fleeting moments and transform them into lasting expressions of beauty and connection. Her artistic approach embraces simplicity, natural textures, gentle colors, and the subtle relationship between light, place, and time. Her creative work extends beyond fine art photography into original greeting cards, prints, and designs that can find expression across everyday objects and materials. Through Breeze & Birch, she explores how art can become part of daily living—something to display, share, carry, or give. An active member of Arts Wayland, Alice has participated in local exhibitions and community art events, including Echoes of Liberty. Breeze & Birch — a whisper of wave and wood.
