About Magdalene Story
In my latest series, I explore the alchemy of found words, arranging them into verse-like structures where the opening lines unfold a narrative, and a single, decisive word lands like a punctuation of meaning. Each piece is meant to speak differently to every viewer—almost like a personal horoscope—inviting interpretation and reflection. The imagery that accompanies the text draws from the rich symbolism of Western culture. Pears appear frequently, revered for their exceptional longevity; their endurance renders them emblems of strength and resilience. Crowns emerge as symbols of wealth, prestige, and at times, eternal or spiritual reward—signifiers of both worldly and divine distinction. The works are intentionally small in scale. They resist spectacle, insisting instead on intimacy. The viewer is invited not merely to look, but to pause, to lean in, and to linger, discovering layers of meaning in quiet proximity.
