About Karen Roop
I am a plein air and studio painter. My plein air sketches often inform my studio pieces. I strive to convey a sense of place in my paintings and always look for patterns of light and dark in a scene. I am a member of ArtsWayland, Concord Art, Stow Area Guild of Artists and an elected member of the Academic Artists Association.
