About Deborah Perugi
I was introduced to art at a young age by my grandfather who was a marble sculptor from Carrara, Italy. I studied art in high school and completed a BFA option in printmaking at Penn State University. I am currently creating larger acrylic paintings on canvas in my studio. You will see a series of bold curvilinear blocks of color, large work experimenting with intuitive abstraction, and smaller cold wax painting on wood focusing on texture, color and composition.
