A Sound from Earth, Amplified

After a recent trip to Iceland, I was transformed by the beauty of the landscape, especially the mountains and rocks. This painting reflects my reaction to a specific place in Búðardalur. The rocks stood out most to the point where I could "hear" how loud their sound could be.
