About Steve Robb
I spent my entire professional career in photography, where the goal was to artfully, if not truthfully, portray an actual scene, item or person, and the process required various forms of technology. Desiring a new medium for creative expression, I discovered, and embraced, a very different technique, where the subject can be from my own imagination, the tools are rudimentary, and the process is tactile and inexact. Each carve into rubber is ink stamped onto paper, and reproduced in card form.
