The Art of Storytelling

Do you have a story to tell? In this five-week class, learn how to craft a compelling story that engages an audience and has them on the edge of their seat. We will cover idea generation, developing a story structure, building characters, conflict, humor, and resolution. By week five, you will be standing on the stage, sharing your story with a live audience.  Space is limited to 8 people.

Catherine Weber is a three-time Moth StorySLAM champion storyteller, poet, artist, community organizer, and marketing executive with a passion for the arts, education, and the environment. She has performed her stories regionally, including at Moth events in Boston and Somerville and has been a feature on Cold River Radio Show in Tamworth, New Hampshire, at ZenMothra in Hopkinton, MA, with Stories to Scenes at the Rozzie Square Theatre in Roslindale, MA, and with Fugitive Productions at Old Frog Pond Farm in Harvard, MA.

Among her many roles, she teaches art, marketing, and technology skills regionally, shows her artwork work nationally, and organizes community programs and events locally. She is a member of the Southborough Cultural Council. She was raised in upstate New York, Indiana, and Connecticut and has lived in Southborough, Massachusetts for 26 years. She holds a BA in Communications from Emerson College and an MA in Critical and Creative Thinking from the University of Massachusetts, Boston.
