Is there a song inside you trying to burst forth? Are you stuck on writing the perfect bridge? Need some help deciding on the right lyric to communicate the sentiment? Do you just need some inspiration?
Be a part of Arts Wayland’s new Songwriter Woodshed! Led by our own music events coordinator and experienced songsmith Steve Robb (steverobb.com) this revolving group is limited to six songwriters who will, at each Woodshed, enjoy 20 minutes of positive critique and suggestions from the five others.
The Woodshed will occur monthly on different nights of the week. Anyone interested in participating should provide an e-mail address to Steve at ‘waylandguitarguy@gmail.com’ with the subject heading ‘Songwriter Woodshed’. A Sign up Genius link will be sent out two weeks prior to the next Woodshed. Arts Wayland members may participate free of charge, others are asked to donate $15 to Arts Wayland, or better just become a member. Interested spectators and aspiring songwriters are welcome to listen in!

Some Reviews:
Thanks for all you are doing in Wayland and nearby to keep self-made music happening. Great community building! - Tom S.
Getting feedback on songs you've written is the only way to get better. The Songwriter Woodshed is a great way to do this. You sit with 5 other songwriters and get and give feedback. The 20 minute time slot works really well for making sure everyone gets an opportunity without the process feeling rushed. - A.J
The Songwriter Workshop is a great opportunity to get constructive and informative feedback on material I'm working on and at the same time to try to offer useful feedback to others working on their material. It's a friendly, supportive, and encouraging environment especially when songwriting can be a rather lonely experience at times. - Alex
The songwriter session was incredibly useful. I've almost "finished" the song I shared last week. Basically after sitting on the rough sketch for 8 months, I did something with it within a week. - Philippa
