The Music Exchange Listening Room is a wonderfully respectful environment of creative sharing, where music is accompanied by the visual artwork gracing the walls of the Arts Wayland Gallery, where there is a new show every month.
Each performance, whether a soloist, duo, or larger, consists of two songs. All styles of acoustic oriented music are welcome, as are all levels of experience, with a minimum of amplification. Light percussion is welcome. For the chance to play in front of a respective audience that listens to every note, performers are asked to make a small donation of any amount to Arts Wayland. Coffee and teas will be available and all ages are welcome to listen and to perform.
MXLR, as it’s become known, occurs on the 4th Monday of each month, from 7:30- 9:30pm (doors open at 7pm)
