The Language of Abstraction: A Masterclass by Adria Arch

The Margaret Stewart Lindsay "Masterclass Series" is proud to present
Boston based sculptor and painter Adria Arch

Date: Sunday, October 10th - 3:00 pm

at the Arts Wayland Gallery
35 Andrew Ave., Wayland MA 01778

What is Abstract Art and what does it mean? According to Adria Arch, a well-known and accomplished Boston based sculptor and painter, abstraction isn’t a rejection of meaning – it’s a different grammar for it. In this Masterclass, Adria will unpack how form, gravity, color, and line can speak as clearly as any figure or story. She’ll speak to the question “How did we get here, from representation to pure form? Just bring your curiosity about how shape and color evoke our emotions before we can even name them.
