Join Arts Wayland for an afternoon of vibrant jazz as the Berklee College of Music Faculty Jazz Series, under the Direction of Neil Olmstead, Berklee College Professor, welcomes Bruno Råberg Trio.
Bassist and composer Bruno Råberg leads a trio with the exceptional guitarist Nate Radley and outstanding drummer Gen Yoshimura. The trio will be playing original material by Råberg and Radley along with interpretations of some classic jazz standards. The three have been playing together for the past 5 years in various constellations including the Bruno Råberg Tentet.

Bruno Råberg – acoustic bass/composition
Bruno is a well renowned bassist and composer that has released 15 albums as a leader and has performed with artists such as Walter Smith III, Kris Davis, Chris Cheek, George Garzone, Bruce Barth and many more. He has performed at jazz festivals in Stockholm (SWE), Nancy (FR), Umbria (IT) and more. He is also a long time Professor at Berklee College of Music. Bruno has been honored the Composer in Residence 2027 by the Norrbotten Big Band based in Sweden.

Nate Radley – guitar
Nate is an internationally known guitarist that has multiple recordings out in his own name. He has worked with artists such as Maria Schneider Jazz Orchestra, Cecile Mclorin Salvant, Adam Nussbaum and has performed at the North Sea Jazz Festival and the Montreal Jazz Festival. He is on the faculty at Berklee College of Music.
Gen Yoshimura – drums
Gen is a drummer/composer from Japan. He came to study at Berklee College of Music and Longy School of Music and holds degrees from both. He has since become a very sought-after drummer and that has performed/recorded with artists such as Chris Cheek, Kris Davis, John Lockwood, Walter Smith III, Oscar Stagnaro, Rick Dimuzio, Yulia Musayelyan.
