Freedom in Flux Exhibit Submission

Freedom in Flux: Artistic Reflections on Democracy

What does liberty mean today? How have the founding ideals of freedom, equality, and self-governance evolved, echoed, or faltered since 1776?

We invite artists of all backgrounds and perspectives to submit work exploring the legacy of American liberty — from revolutionary beginnings to modern-day realities. Freedom in Flux: Artistic Reflections on Democracy seeks to reflect on how these foundational principles have shaped, empowered, challenged, or even failed individuals and communities over time.

This exhibit welcomes all interpretations — celebratory, critical, reflective, personal, or provocative — as long as they engage with the theme thoughtfully. We are committed to showcasing a wide spectrum of viewpoints and artistic voices. Our board reflects a broad range of political, cultural, and personal perspectives, and we value art that sparks dialogue, not division.
Let your voice join the chorus — past, present, and future.

Artwork may include:

  • Visual art (painting, sculpture, mixed media, photography, etc.)
  • Text-based visual art (quotes, poetry, essay, etc.)
  • Digital and multimedia work
