Date: Tuesday, October 22nd at 7:30 pm
Location:
Wayland Public Library in the Round Room (upstairs)
On Tuesday, October 22nd at 7:30 pm at the Wayland Public Library (in the Round Room upstairs), esteemed poet Charles Coe will read from his recent publication Charles Coe: New and Selected Works, which includes twenty new poems and twenty poems each from his first four collections of poetry.
"Charles Coe's poems achieve the remarkable quality of being simultaneously sturdy and wistful. They illuminate the material realities of our lives, and the ephemerality of them—showing us what makes us vulnerable and ultimately human." - Danielle Legros Georges, former Poet Laureate, City of Boston
This event will be free, and books will be available for purchase.
This event is proudly co-sponsored by Arts Wayland and the Wayland Public Library.
Refreshments will be served.
