We are thrilled to announce the ★ Arts Wayland Expo 2024 ★ on the Town Green on Saturday, May 18.

The Dwayne Haggins Band headlines this free, all-day event. Critics rave about Dwayne — he has been called "the love child of Sam Cooke and Hank Williams" and "the fusion of Marvin Gaye and Elvis Presley.”

Grammy nominee and Carnegie Hall dancer and vocalist Bárbara Martínez and flamenco virtuosos the Laura Sánchez Dance Troupe will share an enthralling performance, including giving castanets to the audience with a crash course in how to play them!

We are also thrilled to announce performances by Bigfoot and the Wayland School of Music faculty and selected students.

By popular demand, the event kicks off at 1 o’clock with the spellbinding Wayland High School Honors Jazz Ensemble, directed once again by the incomparable Joe Oneschuk.

There will also be an Artists Tent Pavilion and Marketplace, celebrated food trucks — including Cousins Maine Lobster, the Taco Dude, Castle Island Brewing, Kona Ice, and Chillwagon Ice Cream, kids activities, and a professional stage and professional sound crew.

The rain date is the next day, Sunday, May 19, at the same times, 1:00 to 7:15.

Whether you are a die-hard music aficionado or just looking for an unforgettable afternoon enjoying the sun with the community, this festival has something for everyone!
