The work of an artist often begins long before the first mark is made. It grows from moments of observation, conversations, books, walks, and quiet reflection. These experiences shape not only what we create, but why we create.

Join us for Art Circle: Why We Make Art on Thursday, August 6, from 7:00–8:30 PM at the Arts Wayland Gallery for an evening of thoughtful conversation about the creative process. Together, we’ll explore the inspiration, curiosity, and perseverance that sustain our artistic journeys and make creating such a meaningful part of our lives.

Whether you’re a practicing artist, just beginning your creative journey, or simply interested in the artistic process, this discussion is open to everyone. Light refreshments will be served.
