Art Circle: Capturing Feelings

Dear Art Lovers,

We had a wonderful kick-off meeting for the Art Circle! Many artists — working in a wide range of media and styles — gathered to share their passion for art and creative conversation.

Our discussion topic will be “Capturing Feelings.” Feel free to bring a piece of your own artwork that aims to convey an emotion or mood.

 Which of your favorite artists brings out strong emotions in you?
 What kinds of feelings do you want to convey in your work?
 Are positive feelings easier to express than negative ones?
 What techniques do you use to capture feelings?
