My early years in Brooklyn, New York inspired an appreciation for the beauty of late afternoon sunlight on urban objects. Today, I depict animals, nature and man-made artifacts to convey a sense of place and to prompt viewers to contemplate the past, our present condition, and our connection to the world around us.
