This piece is a one-of-a-kind archival print of one of my oil and cold wax paintings. It is framed in a white, wooden frame. The painting was created to express the joy and gratitude I feel when viewing the beautiful Southwest sunsets.

About Judith Stein
I am a mixed media artist with a home studio in Needham, MA. For years, I have loved painting abstract landscapes and pure abstracts. My favorite medium has been oil paint mixed with cold wax medium. The cold wax enhances the luminosity and transparency of oil paints and allows the paint to dry faster. During the past two years, I have broadened my art practice to incorporate collage work and printing techniques. More recently, I have been exploring eco printing techniques using natural dyes to imprint the shapes, patterns, and colors of leaves and flowers onto paper. Through this process, nature is transformed into a unique piece of art that is personal, precious, and permanent.
