About Robynn Stewart
Painting portraits are my very favorite subjects, people and animals alike. Since the eyes are the "windows to the Soul", my intention is to bring forth the personality and the light shining from the eyes of the subject. I especially enjoy creating a color portrait employing the sfumato technique of old black and white photos, whether they are historic in nature of as a tribute to a beloved family member.
