Nowhere to Hide

Emotions are the inspiration behind this painting, by using a bold color like red to cover most of the canvas. It's hard to hide and be bold at the same time. Color can be a very satisfying way to deal with many emotions.

I started painting in watercolor for about 10 years, and took many other classes before moving to acrylics. In between I learned about monoprint, ceramics, handmade books, drawing, and collage. I'm always inspired by nature, and sometimes I feel painting is a good opportunity for expressing emotions.
