About Lucille Nava
I often combine geometric figures with forms loosely found in nature. The forms from nature may be related to human anatomy as well as the collections of found objects from my hikes in the woods. These paintings are part of my Emergence series that relate to what happens when ideas are forming in the midst of uncertainty. I have always sought to express my feelings about the process of making art and the forms I create, as well as how I see the world around me.
