In my work I try to capture a moment in time, an impression, a mood, a certain light. I work in many media including watercolor, oil, charcoal, pastels, and graphite. I am inspired by nature and its many changing moods and find uncommon beauty in everyday scenes. I work in a free and expressive style, using the power of color and strong design elements to communicate my experience with the subject to the viewer.
