October 2023 Art Exhibit

As autumn descends in New England, the landscape, the weather, the light, and many plants and animals undergo dramatic changes. The days are getting shorter, the trees display an array of colors, the birds and butterflies migrate to the south, animals begin to hibernate and in turn, our energy, activities, concerns, and priorities may shift in adaptation to the transformations surrounding us.

We invite all 2D Arts Wayland member artists to interpret the concept of TRANSFORMATIONS in their own creative way and to submit up to 5 pieces of art that reflect this theme. Express what you find fascinating, mysterious, inspiring, foreboding, or exciting about the changes that occur during this time of year. Open to all 2D mediums and sizes up to 90” in perimeter.

Exhibit Dates: October 3rd - October 27th at the Wayland Library Raytheon room (downstairs)
Drop-off: Monday, October 2nd from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM - Leave you artwork on the floor or table in the room
Reception: Saturday, October 14th from 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM
Pick-up: Saturday, October 28th from 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM
