"Winds of Change" - A Prized Juried Exhibit

Change is the act of creating or becoming something different. We can see change all around us: the seasons; birth, life and death; changes in our family and friends; in our community; in plants and animals; the weather; politics- everywhere. Change can be challenging, and it can also be an opportunity for growth and transformation. For our October juried exhibit, “Winds of Change,” we invite all artists to submit works that speak to the theme of change and transformation.

  • Exhibit Dates: October 3rd- 29th
  • REGISTRATION deadline: Wednesday, August 31st midnight
  • SUBMISSION deadline: Sunday, September 4th midnight
  • Notification of acceptance: Sunday, September 11th via email
  • Artwork drop-off (at The Wellesley Free Library): Saturday, October 1st (11 am-5 pm)
  • Reception (at The Wellesley Free Library): Saturday, October 15th  3-5 pm
  • Artwork pick-up (at The Wellesley Free Library): Sunday, October 30th (12 pm-5 pm)

Jury: The entries will be juried by a committee made up of Arts Wayland member-artists.


All 2D artwork may be submitted. 3D artwork that can be hung on a wall can also be submitted. Each artist can submit up to 3 works. The maximum 2D artwork size is a 96 inches perimeter, including the frame. 3D artwork should not weigh more than 15 pounds and be 6 inches or less in depth. Submitted artworks must be recent (within the past five years). All work must be available for sale; the gallery retains a 25% commission.

We are unable to accept any mailed in artwork for exhibits at this time. All art must be hand delivered and picked up on the exact show schedule.

    • $20 for one image
    • $25 for two images
    • $30 for three images

For non-members:

    • $30 for one image
    • $35 for two images
    • $40 for three images


  • 1st Place - $300
  • 2nd Place - $200
  • 3rd Place - $100
Awards will be announced and presented at a reception on Saturday October 15th  3-5 pm.
