July 2023 Art Exhibit Submissions

We invite all 2D artists, who are members of Arts Wayland, to submit work that speaks to the summertime theme of: Here Comes the Sun! Be as creative as you’d like to be in your interpretation of this theme. You might think of the natural beauty of landscapes in the summer with rich foliage or sparkling ocean waves. Or, you might interpret “sunshine” metaphorically and reflect on the feelings of hope, joy, celebration, and love. Even though we all go through difficult times and they can feel like they last forever, eventually, our troubles subside and the joys of life return. Or, perhaps the theme reminds you of the 60’s and the Beatles’ music, and invites you to remember the carefree days of your youth.
