iPhone Photography 101
Wednesdays, 5/25 10am to noon, and 6/8 9:30-11:30am

In this class, students will learn the ins and outs of their iPhone Camera. They will learn about the basics of taking a photograph, how to correctly pose people, the fundamentals of composition, how to use the iPhone for travel and landscape photography, iPhone tips and tricks, organizing photos, and editing iPhone photographs. This is a two part, four hour class.
Anne Whitty biography
Anne Whitty is a professional portrait photographer and owner of Anne Whitty Photography. She graduated from Monterey Peninsula College with a certificate in Photography in 2009. She began her portrait photography business in 2011. She loves doing real estate photography and working with families, newborns, children, high school seniors, expectant mothers and their partners, couples, and individuals who are looking for that special portrait. In 2014, she moved to Okinawa, Japan and, shortly thereafter, began teaching photography classes at the Kadena Arts and Crafts Center. She continued teaching until 2017 when she moved to Virginia. While living in Virginia, she taught for Stafford County Parks and Recreation and the Workhouse Art Center in Lorton, VA. In 2018, she moved to Annapolis, Maryland and taught for the Fort Meade Arts and Crafts Center and virtually online. In her free time she volunteers for the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History in the Invertebrate Zoology Department editing photographs of the mollusk collection.
