On Monday, December 2nd from 6 pm to 8:30 pm in the Youth Room of the First Parish in Wayland, artist Chaitrali Yadav will lead an Indian Folk Art Workshop.
Indian folk art forms are ancient, versatile and indigenous to India. Each has its own style and originated from various states across the country. Learn about Indian art and culture by discovering some of the folk art forms and their beautiful patterns. In this workshop, we will explore the motifs done in different folk art forms and create a beautiful painting in Madhubani Art.

Bio:
Chaitrali, is a passionate artist and educator. She has a Masters degree in Computer Science and teaches Mathematics at the Russian School of Math. She also teaches art to kids and adults and conducts workshops of Indian Folk painting.
She has also honed her skills in making jewelry, crocheting and making decorative artifacts.
Chaitrali is an artist and a designer at Creations-handmade art and jewelry and has been exhibiting at local galleries and selling her work online and at art shows.

- White art paper for acrylic painting or Canvas Pad ( 9x12)
- A4 size white papers for sketching(4 per person)
