Arts Wayland Presents: Four Song Creators

Arts Wayland Presents an evening of painting pictures with words and music with four award winning songwriters from all four corners of Massachusetts.

At the Vokes Theater: 97 Boston Post Rd.  Wayland MA

Each songwriter will play five of their songs, and introduce each one with the story behind its inception. Enjoy the comfortable seating at the renowned Beatrice Hereford's Vokes Theater in Wayland, MA. 

There is plenty of free parking. Refreshments and snacks will be available in the lobby.

Greg Klyma is touring in support of his 17th studio album, Singing For My Life. Born in Buffalo and based in Boston since 2010, Klyma is a road-tested troubadour with over 20 years of touring experience, a relentless songwriter with an extensive canon of original material, and a multi-instrumentalist in search of the secret chord. Erin Ash Sullivan is a Massachusetts-based folk singer-songwriter who loves a good storytelling song. In 2021 she released her debut solo album, We Can Hear Each Other, which reached #10 on the FAI DJ Chart. In 2022, she has been a Grassy Hill Emerging Artist at the Falcon Ridge Folk Festival, the recipient of the Mark Erelli Judge’s Choice Award in the New England Songwriting Competition, and a Songwriter Serenade Semifinalist. Basketball player turned guitarist, turned philosophy major, turned songwriter Paul Hansen has been performing on the Boston scene since 2005. Along with multiple national tours, mostly DIY, Paul's band, The Grownup Noise, has had several songs featured on MTV and popular Netflix shows, including 90210. His songs have also provided the soundtrack for various award-winning independent films.
Paul's song 'Carnival' won a songwriting contest judged by NYT author and music journalist Steve Almond in 2013. Paul has a true love for song and his favorite style of music changes on a daily basis. Website: thegrownupnoise.com

Susan Cattaneo is one of Boston’s most respected singer-songwriters. Respectful of tradition, but not bound by it, Susan blends rock, folk and blues with a healthy dose of country. Call it New England Americana with a twang. In 2018, she was nominated for Best Americana Artist in the Boston Music Awards, and she performed and won the Connecticut Folk Festival. Her latest album The Hammer and The Heart charted #1 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart and yielded a #1 song on folk radio and a top 10 album of 2017. Website: susancattaneo.com
