This mixed media piece integrates oil paint, cold wax medium, photos, painted papers, & tissue papers on a cradled wood panel. The words in Greek and Hebrew mean universal love or loving kindness. The earth tone palette, rich textures, and photos of Greek statues convey the beauty and depth of ancient philosophies and wisdom.

I am a mixed media artist with a home studio in Needham, MA. While I love painting with oils and cold wax medium, recently, I have become intrigued with collage and the innumerable ways to express oneself using both hand-painted manufactured papers, photographs, digital images, magazines, fabric and text. Creating engaging compositions and balancing shapes, colors, and textures is an immensely joyful and rewarding process!
